When I was a kid I remember wanting to give my mom the best valentine ever, so I took every piece of red, pink and white construction paper in the house and cut hearts out of them and taped them to my bedroom door. I also used an entire box of paper doilies, which it think probably caused a problem seeing as they can’t have been cheap. Thankfully I didn’t cut up any real doilies. I remember having my picture taken in front of the door with about 200 paper hearts on it. I was very proud of the accomplishment at the time…

    Another memory: that bedroom door has a set of glass knobs instead of metal or wood…one of those things I didn’t appreciate as a kid but now think is totally awesome.
