Fresh Pasta Night

I have stubbornly held onto my pasta machine when many other good kitchen tools have been purged. Like the librarians who were recently caught gaming the data by creating fake patrons to check out beloved but unpopular books, I made delicious linguine last night and even if we don’t use it for the rest of the year, the machine has earned its space in the cupboard. Paired with Marcella Hazan’s Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking I feel prepared to feed anyone well. 

I am back to the office today and my intention is to be generous, calm, and focused. 

May we all have an easy and joyful start to 2017 at work.
